PDFSuite ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services at pdfsuite.app.

Our PDF tools process your files entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. We have no technical capability to access, store, or transmit your PDF documents.

We collect limited information to operate and improve our service:

• Usage analytics: Page views, tool usage, and general interaction data via Google Analytics 4, collected only with your consent.
• Advertising data: Google AdSense may collect anonymized data to display relevant ads, only with your consent.
• Technical data: Browser type, device type, and language preference, used to optimize user experience.

We do not collect names, email addresses, PDF file contents, or any personally identifiable information.

We use collected data exclusively to:

• Understand how users interact with our tools (analytics)
• Display relevant advertisements (AdSense)
• Diagnose and fix technical issues
• Improve our service

Under Article 6 of the GDPR, we process your data based on:

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you explicitly accept them via our cookie banner.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): Strictly necessary cookies (such as storing your consent preference) and basic technical data required to serve the website.

We use cookies and browser local storage for the following purposes, only after obtaining your consent for non-essential items via our cookie banner. For detailed information, see our Cookies Policy.

Local storage keys used:

• cookie-consent — Stores your cookie consent preference (accepted/declined).
• pdfsuite_last_use — Stores last usage timestamp to provide a daily ad-free first use.
• pdfsuite_adblock_dismissed — Stores when the adblock notification was dismissed (30-day expiry).
• pdfsuite_adblock_whitelisted — Stores whether the user has whitelisted ads.

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics 4: Usage analytics. Google Privacy Policy
• Google AdSense: Advertising. Google Privacy Policy

These services are operated by Google LLC (USA). Data collected through Google Analytics and AdSense may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Google relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission as the legal mechanism for these international data transfers, in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR. Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to rectification (Art. 16) — Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure (Art. 17) — Request deletion of your personal data.
• Right to restriction (Art. 18) — Request limited processing of your data.
• Right to data portability (Art. 20) — Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object (Art. 21) — Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)) — Withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies and local storage, or by declining cookies when the banner appears.

If you believe that your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the EU/EEA member state of your habitual residence, your place of work, or where the alleged infringement occurred. You can find the list of supervisory authorities at European Data Protection Board.

We retain analytics data for 14 months (Google Analytics default). Local storage data is retained on your device until you clear your browser data. Since we do not collect personal data directly on our servers, there is no personal data to delete from our systems. To delete your Google Analytics data, contact Google directly.

PDFSuite is not directed at children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you are under 16, please do not use this service without parental consent.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
