Terms of Use
Last updated: February 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using PDFSuite ("the Service") at pdfsuite.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
PDFSuite provides free, browser-based PDF processing tools, including merging, compressing, splitting, and converting PDF files. All processing happens entirely in your web browser — your files are never uploaded to our servers.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Process files you do not have the right to use
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
- Use automated tools to access the Service at scale
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws
- Use the signature or watermark tools to forge documents or impersonate identities
User responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content of the files you process. PDFSuite does not review, store, or have access to your documents, as all processing occurs locally in your browser.
4. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or produce any specific result. Use the Service at your own risk and always keep backups of important files.
Visual signatures: The signature tool adds a decorative image to the PDF document. It does not constitute a cryptographic digital signature and has no legal validity. For documents requiring a legally valid electronic signature, use a certified electronic signature service in compliance with applicable regulations (eIDAS, ESIGN Act, etc.).
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFSuite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, file corruption, or business interruption.
6. Intellectual Property
The PDFSuite name, logo, and website design are our intellectual property. The open-source libraries we use (pdf-lib, PDF.js, jsPDF) are licensed under their respective open-source licenses. Your PDF files and their content remain your intellectual property at all times.
7. Advertising
The Service is supported by advertising provided by Google AdSense. Advertisements are clearly labeled and we are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
8. Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years of age to use PDFSuite. If you are under 16, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation where possible.
